May 2022 marks 3 years since greenslips.com.au partnered with Can Assist. This month, Forbes Can Assist became the 39th branch to receive funding from greenslips.com.au.
Cancer patients in the Forbes area have to travel to Parkes, Orange or Sydney for treatment. This donation will help keep their cars on the road. It provides some relief for cancer patients who already have their health and their finances to worry about.
Can Assist Forbes is always looking for new volunteers. It is very valuable work as Can Assist provides lots of practical help, as well as financial assistance.
