Launch of Can Assist Tweed

Can Assist Tweed

Can Assist has launched its 56th branch network, Can Assist Tweed, with a funding contribution from greenslips.com.au.

People in regional areas who are diagnosed with cancer often have to travel a long way to get treatment. greenslips.com.au partnered with Can Assist to help provide green slips so people can keep their cars on the road at this difficult time.

Can Assist Tweed is able to provide financial help and practical help, thanks to greenslips.com.au and willing volunteers. Can Assist relies on volunteers to do its valuable work all over regional NSW. The branch continues to look for new volunteers who can join them.

Can Assist Tweed encourages local cancer patients to ask for help. Social workers, neighbourhood centres, community health centres and major hospitals also ask for this support.
